GREATNESS IN A FEW SIMPLE WORDS:

When in England at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if America's plans for Iraq were just an example of "Empire Building: by George Bush.

Colin Powell answered:

"OVER THE YEARS, THE UNITED STATES HAS SENT MANY OF ITS FINE YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN INTO GREAT PERIL TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM BEYOND OUR BORDERS. THE ONLY AMOUNT OF LAND WE HAVE EVER ASKED FOR IN RETURN, IS ENOUGH LAND TO BURY THOSE THAT DID NOT RETURN."

Thanks US NAVY ! Thank you for our FREEDOM !

We need to remember that God created this vast and glorious world
for us to live in, FREELY, but also at great sacrifice. Let us never forget from the Revolutionary War to the current War on Terrorism and all the wars in-between that sacrifice was made for our freedom.

Remember to pray praises for this Great Country of ours and also pray for those still in murderous unrest around the world.

STOP and THANK GOD for being alive and being FREE at someone else's sacrifice.

Where the US Paratroopers landed behind enemy lines to Free Europe
June 6th, 1944

Note: Out of 6,600 American Casualties for D-Day – 2499 were U.S Airborne Troops.

One of the paratroopers as seen in the above picture, was stucked for long hours in the roof of this 350 years old Church, wounded, he played dead until he was rescued much later on. This paratrooper as featured in the film D-Day became deaf because of Church's bells ringing all day announcing LIBERATION.
